Initially, Eco Painting, LLC was designed to fill a void left by other painting companies. In 2006, and even today, not many other painting businesses were concerned about the hazardous emissoins coming off the products they applied. Being a resourse and an alternative for those in the community who were concerned about the health risks associated with conventional building products was a whole nother matter. We did research, experimented, and let our optimism guide us when we realized it was only us. We educated ourselves about volitile organic compounts, solvents, and a wide variety of chemicals both listed and unlisted. The manufactorers of the paints and their process from sourcing raw materials to how they made their paint was also scrutinezed. It was learned early on that not all products that claimed to be more environmentally friendly or better for human health were the same.

Eco Painting made it ia point to clarify and educate those interested in what the differences were, and which products were worth their money and worthy of being applied. In addition to the specific products we use and our mindful worksite practices, we starting using biodiesel in our workvan which cuts down on the amount of local pollution coming out of our tailpipe, implemented the use only post consumer recyled paper products for office and marketing materials, and have our website hosted by 100% solor energy. All the money we make is reinvested in our local economy.

We have built a reputation in doing high end work. Now in 2011, most of our business comes via word of mouth. As we grow, we continue to be stewards for the land on which we live and work, and to do our part in creating healthy living environments for our clients.
